“Was walking by Vintage Society in Cirencester when something caught my eye. It was a very clumsy person with an umbrella, but that's not important right now. Ever feel compelled to pop into a shop, drawn in by curiosity? This is exactly what happened to me. First thing I noticed was a young lady dancing behind the counter, an indication that the staff are happy, perhaps? I took 'vintage' to mean 'second hand' but noticed all items were clean and ironed, well, those that needed to be ironed. Turns out they're bulk bought and go through a rigorous procedure to make them presentable to the general public. I'm part of that general public. My one complaint? They didn't stock any Middlesbrough scarves in the football scarves section. Yeah, okay, that's a bit too picky.”
